Town Hall Meeting Objectives
- Heighten public awareness of the elder care crisis in America today.
- Explore with experts how we can solve the looming economic and social disaster.
VIP Audiences
Approximately 400 VIP attendees per city venue consisting of (1) policy makers, (2) elder care providers/care givers (for profit and not-for-profit); (3) elder care recipients and their families.
The Format
A unique and exciting multiple-media presentation
highlighted by the live “blue ribbon” panel debate of the issues – with Q&A from our VIP audience -- followed by a full day’s conference with presentations by the And Thou Shalt Honor core faculty plus local experts in the field of elder caregiving and health economics. The videotaping of the day’s events provides the basis for regional sponsorship for local PBS-Affiliate airing of the event.
The City Venues
The 25 Cities which will serve as venue hosts are being selected currently based upon three primary criteria:
- Active And Thou Shalt Honor Coalition in place;
- Local PBS Affiliate as host station;
- Local sponsor acting as “banner” host.
Opportunities to Participate
There are several opportunities to participate
in this precedent-setting grassroots event:
- Nationally as a Corporate Sponsor. “Banner” recognition throughout all 25 venues. Appoint faculty member to serve on speaker panels.
- Nationally as Coalition Partner. Same as above, but for professional and trade associations in the elder care services sector.
- Locally as Venue Sponsor. Same as above, but for local providers, associations and agencies involved in elder care services sector at local city venues.
- Locally as Conference Exhibitor. A limited number of exhibit tables will be available at each venue for all the above to present their products/services to the public.
